Zoom Integration — MemoryCorp

This page contains step-by-step instructions on how to add, use, and remove the MemoryCorp Zoom integration. Authentication uses the OAuth 2.0 authorization-code grant. MemoryCorp accesses your Zoom cloud recordings and related metadata only as described below and only while you keep the integration active.

Authentication

MemoryCorp uses Zoom OAuth 2.0 (authorization-code grant). When you click Connect, you are redirected to Zoom's consent screen where you review the requested permissions before granting access. No Zoom password is shared with MemoryCorp. Tokens are stored encrypted on our servers and are scoped to your tenant. You can revoke access at any time — from inside MemoryCorp or directly from your Zoom account settings.

Prerequisites

  • A MemoryCorp account with permission to manage connectors (typically an account administrator or a user with the Connectors permission).
  • A Zoom account that can sign in via the web and has cloud recording enabled. Some recording features require a paid Zoom plan — refer to Zoom's documentation for your account type.
  • Your browser must allow redirects and pop-ups from memorycorp.ai and zoom.us during the OAuth flow.

How to add the integration

  1. Sign in to MemoryCorp at app.memorycorp.ai with an account that has connector management permissions.
  2. In the left sidebar, click Connectors (also shown as Integrations in some plan views).
  3. Find the Zoom card and click Connect. If the card shows Configure, first add your Zoom OAuth credentials in the connector settings, then click Connect.
  4. You will be redirected to Zoom's authorization page. Review the requested permissions (listed in the Data & Permissions section below) and click Allow.
  5. After Zoom redirects you back to MemoryCorp, the Zoom connector should show as Active. A first sync will run automatically in the background. If the status shows an error, verify your Zoom account has cloud recording enabled and try again; contact support if the error persists.

How to use the integration

Once connected, MemoryCorp automatically syncs your Zoom cloud recordings — including video files and VTT/SRT transcripts where available — into your MemoryCorp workspace. Synced recordings are searchable through the Knowledge Library and can be used in:

  • AI Assistant — Ask questions about past meetings directly.
  • Voice Intelligence — Transcribe, summarize, and generate SOPs or checklists from your recorded meetings.
  • SOP & Checklist builder — Generate process documentation from meeting transcripts.

Sync behavior and data retention follow your MemoryCorp tenant settings and applicable agreements. Only data your Zoom account exposes under the granted scopes is ever accessed.

Data & permissions (scopes)

MemoryCorp requests only the Zoom scopes strictly required to power the connector. We do not sell your Zoom data or use it for advertising.

ScopeWhy it is needed
cloud_recording:read:list_user_recordingsList your cloud recordings so MemoryCorp can sync them to your workspace.
cloud_recording:read:list_recording_filesRead the file list for each recording (video, audio, transcript files).
cloud_recording:read:meeting_transcriptDownload the VTT/SRT transcript for AI processing and search indexing.

How to remove the integration

  1. In MemoryCorp, open Connectors, find the Zoom card, and click Disconnect (or the Remove action). This immediately stops further data sync and marks the connector inactive.
  2. Optionally, use the Delete connector action in MemoryCorp to remove the stored configuration and encrypted tokens from our servers.
  3. To fully revoke MemoryCorp's access from Zoom's side, sign in to Zoom Marketplace → Added apps and remove the MemoryCorp app. This invalidates all OAuth tokens.
  4. If you require deletion of data already ingested into MemoryCorp, contact our support team (email below) with your company name and tenant details. We will process the request in accordance with applicable data-protection regulations.

Data retention & deletion

Recordings and transcripts synced from Zoom are stored in your MemoryCorp workspace under your tenant's retention policy. Disconnecting the Zoom connector stops future syncs but does not automatically delete previously ingested content. To request data deletion, contact support@memorycorp.ai. MemoryCorp's full privacy policy is available at memorycorp.ai/privacy.

Troubleshooting

  • Connection fails after redirect: Verify your Zoom account has cloud recording access and that you clicked Allow on Zoom's consent screen. Try disconnecting and reconnecting.
  • Recordings not appearing: Sync may take a few minutes. Refresh the Knowledge Library. If recordings still don't appear, check that your Zoom cloud recordings are not empty and that your plan supports cloud recording.
  • Token expired / connector inactive: Click Reconnect in the Zoom connector card to complete a new OAuth flow and refresh your tokens.
